Today was a very fun and productive day making transport/Christmas themed decorations. I had a variety of skilled visitors from age 2 and a half up until a handful of curious parents 🙂 It was very sweet to see the enthusiasm for glitter, buttons and pipe cleaners! I had pipe cleaners which were very easy to manipulate to make button wheeled bicycles, Christmas trees, snowflakes and baubles (circular MDF discs with holes for gold thread). Introducing the theme of ww1 was a little tough but I managed to get participants to try out my drawings and cartridge paper to transfer images onto the baubles. The bicycle image was the most popular and we had 1 Blériot bauble too! I actually an out of materials and had to restock for the Dover Transport Museum tomorrow, December 6th from 11am-1pm. Enjoy the images! Big thank you to all that came along and helped to decorate my mini Christmas tree!
