I’ll be making ww1 transport themed Christmas decorations at the Discovery Centre on December 5th during the Dover Town Council’s Christmas Lights Switch-On.
This will be my community event for the DMAG project with the Dover Transport Museum.
I have made a few bicycles already using buttons and pipe cleaners. They’re very easy to make!
I’ve got to finish my monoplane design with foam board but I couldn’t help but try to make a mini Christmas
tree and snowflake! I was excited to find poppy buttons so that the bicycles can have them for wheels.
Both events are suitable for all ages. Joanna and Clare will also be launching the DMAG Joined-Up colouring book.
Come on down to Dover Transport Museum on the 6th of December, i’ll be there from 11am until 12.45pm
making more decorations. There is no cost to participate. I will have a few handouts from my book to colour in.
Here is the poster for the Lights Swtich-on event 🙂 See you there!
