On a tip from friends, Ewan and Chris, South London Botanical Institute have been in touch and amazingly they have a rubus (raspberry) specimen in their archive from Kingsdown found in 1907!

Furthermore, SLBI’s Roy Vickery is preparing a title: A Folk Flora with extensive references to folklore and the uses of British plants.
